NEWS LETTER: MARCH 2016

Developments:

Last month our pledged monthly financial support remained at 29.3% of our budget; after adding one-time donations the Lord provided 100.0% of our budget—our Lord IS faithful..!

* On February 27th I sent a Furlough Needs email to all our supporters asking them to pray that the Lord would provide transportation for our family of six during our time in Florida. Almost immediately a 2000 Chevrolet Conversion was placed at our disposal for the entirety of our trip—Father, You are awesome.!!

* On February 28th we had our last Sunday service before our Furlough time in the States. I left Mingo Casaretto at the helm of the teaching ministry of our church. Father, anoint Mingo with Your Spirit and use him to edify Your church in Miraflores..!

* On March 5th my whole family took a flight home to Miami to begin our Furlough III. We will be in Florida until May 10th.

The main purpose of this trip is to do a lot of PR and try to raise supporters interested to invest in the new more international scope (with heavy emphasis in Venezuela) of my growing internet Bible teaching ministry. We have been spending most of our time around our home church, Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale, and its satellites. We will be taking a short road trip to go visit a couple of churches in Central Florida (Inverness, The Villages, Merrit Island, Venice, etc.) from March 26th until April 17th. After that we’ll be back in South Florida for the last part of our Furlough.

If you would like for us to visit you, while we’re in Florida, to hear what the Lord is doing through our ministry, please, let us know… We would love to share our story with you.

* On March 6th I got my backpack stolen from out car while eating at Chipotle in a nice area of Miramar, FL… Fortunately, I had removed my laptop and iPad from the backpack minimizing the loss to about $500.

* On March 12th and 13th we visited our home church satellite, CC Plantation. During that time we had an opportunity to dedicate baby Adrian to the Lord and to reconnect with old friends and make new ones. Father, thank You for our friends—bless them.!!

The Spirit of God continues to do a truly remarkable work in Venezuela through our internet Bible teaching ministry:

In February, the number of people reached by our Facebook page, in Venezuela alone, was almost 190000, the amount of people engaged with the teaching video posts was about 1200 and the amount of Likes on our page closed the month at 3502—already 703 more than in Peru. Also, after reviewing the stats on Vimeo (our video housing provider) we realized that the amount of Plays of our Bible teaching videos was 4125—in Venezuela alone—followed by Peru with 199! 

Father, we continue to praise You… Further the kingdom of Your Son in Venezuela and beyond..!

NEWS LETTER: FEBRUARY 2016

Developments:

Last month our pledged monthly financial support remained at 29.3% of our budget; after adding one-time donations the Lord provided 71.0% of our budget—our Lord will be proven faithful..!

* On January 18th I shared at the weekly meeting of Christian Surfers Peru. We spent some time in the first couple of verses of John 1.

* On February 3rd we decided to step out in faith and bought plane tickets for our next Furlough. We will be in Florida from March 5th until May 10th.

The main purpose of this trip is to do a lot of PR and try to raise supporters interested to invest in the new more international scope (with heavy emphasis in Venezuela) of my growing internet teaching ministry. We have no idea what the Lord has in store, but, with the limited info available, we are anticipating spending most of our time around Calvary Ft. Lauderdale and its satellites, as well as, a couple of churches in Central Florida (Inverness, The Villages, Merrit Island, Venice, etc.).

* On February 3rd we received our car from the repair shop in perfect conditions and everything, about $2500, was completely coved by the other driver’s insurance. Thank You, Father..!

What the Spirit of God has been doing in Venezuela through our internet teaching ministry in the last couple of months is truly remarkable:

In January, the number of people reached by our Facebook page, in Venezuela alone, surpassed 190000, the amount of people engaged with the teaching video posts was over 1600 and the amount of Likes on our page closed the month at 2592—already 194 more than in Peru. Also, after reviewing the stats on Vimeo (our video housing provider) we realized that the amount of Plays of our Bible teaching videos was 3898—in Venezuela alone—followed by Peru with 168! 

Father, we praise You—continue to further the kingdom of Your Son in Venezuela and beyond..!

NEWS LETTER: JANUARY 2016

Developments:

Last month our pledged monthly financial support remained at 29.3% of our budget; after adding one-time donations the Lord provided 100% of our budget—our Lord IS faithful..!

* On December 18th we participated on a beach evangelism outreach with Eternal Wave Surf School.

* On December 18th we had a very blessed Christmas Party where we celebrated the birth of our Savior and another year of serving Him together as a church.

* On December 20th our church was able to bless the kids of Calvary Kids Pachacutec with some Christmas’ gifts.

* On December 23rd I was asked to bless the workplace and the entire staff at a friend's factory as a Christmas and End-of-the-Year even—the gospel of Christ has proclaimed.

* On January 10th we had our bimonthly Servants’ Meeting. We mainly started preparing for my upcoming Furlough trip around March.

* On January 8th Karla got in a car accident. No one's hurt, completely the fault of the one who crashed into her, but we're now—because we couldn't afford car insurance—dealing with a lot of unbelievable paperwork trying to get paid for the $3000 repair expenses. Father, have mercy on us…

Last month we were led to broaden the scope of the promotion of our Facebook page and the Sunday teaching posts to include Venezuela as well as Peru… I believe we are witnessing a true phenomenon of the Spirit of God take place:

The number of people reached has been multiplied by 43, the amount of people engaged with the teaching posts has grown by a factor of 9 and the amount of Likes on our page is six times as much. Also, after reviewing the stats on Vimeo (our video housing provider) we realized that the amount of Plays of our Bible teaching videos has multiplied by 31! 

When we rank the numbers by countries we can see that Venezuela is already first by ten times as much as Peru that comes in second. 

Father, we praise You for Your unparalleled goodness and pray You continue to bless my birth country with the freedom that only Your Son can provide!

NEWS LETTER: DECEMBER 2015

Developments:

Last month our pledged monthly financial support remained at 29.3% of our budget; after adding one-time donations the Lord provided 100% of our budget—our Lord IS faithful..!

* On November 16th I shared at the weekly meeting of Christian Surfers Peru. We spent some time in the second half of Proverbs 6.

* On November 21st our church got together for a movie night where several unbelievers were exposed to the eternal truth of God’s Word.

* On November 22nd I had the privilege of sharing God’s Word at Calvary Chapel Pachacutec.

* On November 30th my firstborn son, Sebastian, and I went on a kind of bar mitzvah trip to Machu Picchu with a group of CC Bible College-Peru. Father, bless my son as he enters into manhood to be a man of God that seeks after Your heart.

* On December 8th Christian Surfers Peru did an outreach to the surfing town of San Bartolo.

* On December 12th I was asked to participate in the opening ceremony an unbelieving friend’s store in order to bless the business—the gospel of Christ has proclaimed.

* On December 16th I participated in end-of-the-year Christian Surfers' Leadership Meeting.

Back on October 20th we were led to make use of Facebook’s promotion tools with a budget of $2/day to promote the church’s Facebook page and the Sunday teaching posts… Since then we have had incredible results: The number of people reached has been multiplied by 12, the amount of people engaged with the teaching posts has grown by a factor of 5 and the amount of Likes on our page has tripled. Also, after reviewing the stats on Vimeo (our video housing provider) we realized that the amount of Plays of our Bible teaching videos has multiplied by 10! Father, we praise You for Your judgments are unsearchable and Your ways are indeed past finding out!

NEWS LETTER: NOVEMBER 2015

Developments:

A thank-you-note to all those who donate to our ministry—specially to those who gave generously this month allowing us to catch up financially for the coming Christmas season… Now, Father, according to Your word, open up the windows of heaven and pour out Your blessing upon these that are tangibly committed with the expansion of Your kingdom in this world..!

* On October 26th I shared at the weekly meeting of Christian Surfers Peru. We spent some time cultivating the fear of God from several Scriptures—mainly Nahum 1.

* On October 30th most Calvary senior pastors in the Lima area had the blessing to meet for breakfast with pastor Fausto Pflucker. Thank You, Father, for pastor Fausto’s love, the wisdom and the encouraging words that he shared with us—bless his soul.

* On November 1st we had our bimonthly Servants’ Meeting. Evangelism is the burden the Spirit is clearly stirring among us. Father, send us out into the world to share Your amazing love in the power of Your Spirit..!

* On November 13th my wife and I were invited to the El Secreto Bible Collage Graduation and Pastors' Dinner at Gracia CC.

* On November 14th my self and a couple of our leaders were blessed to assist this year’s Calvary Chapel Pastors' Conference in Peru with pastor Raul Ries at CC Gracia.
