NEWS LETTER: FEBRUARY 2014

Developments:
Last month our pledged monthly financial support dropped to 47.3% of our budget; after adding one-time donations the Lord provided 86.5% of our budget—our Lord will be proven faithful..!

The last days of our furlough in the US we visited many of our faithful supporters in the South Florida area including the Escorcia’s, the Verrier’s, the Monteith’s, the Thursday Night Chicas’ Bible study, the Brink’s and our home church campus, CC Plantation. Thank you all for your love and support throughout the years!

* On January 28th we left South Florida and after 19 hours of travel time we made it back to Peru. We were lovingly received by the Monzon’s at the airport after a smooth passage through the peruvian customs—praise God! This marked the beginning of the 3rd chapter of our ministry as missionaries to Miraflores-Lima, Peru. Thank You, Lord, for the opportunity to serve You in this capacity..!

* On February 2rd we had our first Sunday service after our furlough. It was a blessing to reconnect, in person, with the congregation. It was also a blessing to be back in the the pulpit with a message of freedom in the unconditional love of God, in Christ, as we started our study of the book of Ephesians. Father, set us all free to revel in Your love and be satisfied in Your goodness..!

* On February 5th we celebrated Samuelito’s 6th birthday. He is back to 100% of his physical capacities now playing tenis and swimming.

* On February 6th I met with Antonio Farfán to discuss ministry opportunities with Christian Surfers of Peru.

Since our arrival we’ve been very busy doing ministry reconnecting with the people and doing a lot of errands to get up to date after our prolonged furlough absence… More to come next month.

Online Outreach Stats (January, 2014):

Prayer Needs:
* For a fresh and empowering view of God, that we may learn to see His goodness in all places and in all things, and that His will be done in our lives.
* For our marriage, our devotional lives, and for our kids to continue to grow in their desire to know the Lord.
* For good health to all in our family.
* For God's provision to cover the medical expenses due to Samuelito's broken elbow.
* For God's leading and provision on expanding the church and implementing a fresh vision of grace as we fully reengage with our congregation.
* For a downpour of spiritual realities and an intense hunger for God in the hearts of everyone in the church, including our children and our youth.
* For the healing hand of God on the marriages of our church.
* For the development of male leadership in our church.
* For the development of healthy relational discipleship groups where our congregation truly comes to know and grow in the grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
* For our video ministry, church Facebook and church web page to reach many with the Word of God.
* For the Lord to strengthen and develop godly homeschooling here in Peru.
* For the salvation of the people of the Club Terrazas Swimming Team and beyond.
* For Divine guidance and blessing as we seek to make disciples in the peruvian city of Huamachuco, as well as in Caracas, Venezuela. Also for God to raise up local pastors for these locations that are of one mind with the vision of Calvary Chapel Miraflores.
* For my involvement with the local ministry of Christian Surfers.
* For our monthly financial support to go back to 100% of our budget.

Thank you for holding us up through your love and faithful work of intercession..!

In His love,
Andres, Karla, Sebastian, Daniel, and Samuel—the Garcia’s.
