NEWS LETTER: MARCH 2015

Developments:
Last month our pledged monthly financial support dropped to 56.5% of our budget; after adding one-time donations the Lord provided 96.7% of our budget—our Lord IS faithful..!

* On February 16th I shared at the weekly meeting of Christian Surfers of Peru. We spent some time in Acts 16.

* On February 19th we received notice that my mom’s malign mole was removed in time, so she is cancer free. Thank You, Father.!!

* On February 23rd the doctor checked Adrian’s heart and it showed a more steady heartbeat… We are praying for fully clean heartbeat by the time he’s born—anytime after the March 19th.

* On February 28th we felt the Winds of Change… After five years of ministry on our location in Larco we surrendered it. We have been having our Sunday services at the Club Empresarial in San Isidro and will now have all our other activities in houses. We are looking more like the church of the book of Acts.

* On March 1st we had our first Sunday service with live worship led by our very own Mingo Casaretto. That day we also had our bimonthly Servants Meeting. Father, raise the leadership of our church that everyone would be actively involved in the work of the ministry.!!

* On March 3rd we had our first Prayer Meeting at the Monzón family’s house… The more intimate setting was conducive for a downpour of the Holy Spirit.

* On March 5th a new Women’s Group was born led and hosted by Judith Espinoza at her house.

NEWS LETTER: DECEMBER 2014

Developments:
Last month our pledged monthly financial support remained at 61.0% of our budget; after adding one-time donations the Lord provided 84.4% of our budget—our Lord will be proven faithful..!

* From November 16th through the 30th Karla, the kids and I went on a road trip to the area of Cajamarca where we had the opportunity to spend some time with John and Pilar Bonner in the Calvary Chapel Bible College Peru and with the Alegre’s in Calvary Chapel Cajabamba.

* On November 19th I had the opportunity to share the Word of God at the mid-week service of Calvary Chapel Cajamarca.

* On November 20th my wife, Karla, shared with the women in the Bible College.

* On November 21st I had the privilege of being the keynote speaker at the graduation ceremony of the Calvary Chapel Bible College Peru in Cajamarca. We spent a week in the Bible College and it was truly a blessing to witness firsthand the work that the Spirit of God is doing in and through this ministry. Later, after praying it through with my wife, I made myself available to John Bonner to serve with my family for a couple of weeks in the months of August. John Bonner has asked me to teach a two-week course and I have accepted.

We are also planning on getting our church involved in helping this ministry with mission trips during our yearly stays in the College to serve the College and the churches in the area.

With the new addition to our family that we are expecting to arrive in April we will be forced to upgrade the family vehicle to one able to mobilize a family of six… Please pray for God to provide a reliable vehicle that we could use to take the 15-hour trip to the mountains of Cajamarca every year to partner with this ministry. On our last trip the automatic transmission of our current car ended up needing to $350 in repairs.

* On December 10th I had an encouraging time of koinonia having lunch with a group leaders from Calvary Chapel Downey and other local Calvary Chapel pastors at Gracia CC.
