NEWS LETTER: SEPTEMBER 2016

Developments:

Last month our pledged monthly financial support remained at 48.7% of our budget; after adding one-time donations the Lord provided 100.0% of our budget—our Lord IS faithful..!

After a month fully packed with farewell get-togethers, planning, selling, packing and shipping we are now back in the USA. It is with bittersweetness that we left Peru, but we look forward with great expectation to the new chapter of our missionary ministry to the hispanic world—now in and from Central Florida.

We will be busy working on a hispanic church plant in the area of Orlando, FL—specifically in the city of Clermont. This church plant will be the new furnace where Bible studies will be produce, to feed the local sheep first, and then be placed on the internet to continue to reach the hispanic world with the freeing message of Christ’s inexhaustible grace to an exhausted world. The name of our new church plant and missionary ministry will be calvary chapel Eres AMADO, as in “You are unconditionally and eternally LOVED”—the essence of the gospel of the grace of God!

As we remain full-time committed to the work of missions and church planting in the hispanic world, we appreciate your continued financial support during this transition period and into the next chapter of our ministry. Until further notice, the process to collect donations remains the same.

The internet Bible teaching ministry continues to grow. In the month of August, the number of people engaged with the teaching video posts in our Facebook page ascended to 1510 in Venezuela, 515 in Nicaragua, 244 in Peru, 230 in Guatemala, 160 in Dominican Republic, 129 in Ecuador, 124 in Honduras, 121 in El Salvador and 77 in Colombia. We closed the month with 9975 Venezuelan Likes—out of a total of already more than 21K Likes throughout the hispanic world!

* Video Ministry: 13486 "Loads,” 4599 "Plays,” and 151 “Finishes” in 25 different countries (Venezuela, Peru, United States, Colombia, Spain, Panama, El Salvador, Italy, Brazil, Honduras, Portugal, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Ecuador, France, Netherlands, Trinidad and Tobago, Mexico, Chile, Costa Rica, Guyana, Paraguay, Switzerland, Argentina and Germany—in order of most "Plays").

NEWS LETTER: AUGUST 2016

Developments:

Last month our pledged monthly financial support went up to 48.7% of our budget; after adding one-time donations the Lord provided 100.0% of our budget—our Lord IS faithful..!

* On July 23rd my family and I traveled to Cajamarca to serve at the Calvary Chapel Bible College Peru for two weeks. During that time we all participated in the daily activities of the college while I served the hispanic students by teaching a class called NT383: Galatians, Philippians & Colossians. We had a wonderful time of service and fellowship. Our heart is to continue to serve at the Bible College once a year as God provides.

* On August 20th we had a very special Koinonia Day with the church at large where we enjoyed each other over great BBQ. Father, thank You for these beautiful group of people You gave us to tend to. We pray You bless them always..!

We continue moving forward with God’s directive to move the operations of my hispanic Bible teaching ministry to the States by way of starting a hispanic church plant in the area of Orlando, FL—specifically in the city of Clermont.

Last month the Lord gave confirmation to pastor Renzo Plasencia and his family to join the leadership team of the local church here in Miraflores. He will assume the lead with the local pastoral responsibilities of the church while I remain involved in the disciple making process of the church, from the States, using the technology that is available to us these days. Thank You, Father for Your provision—bless the Plasencia family.!!

We are set to fly back to Florida on September 13th… Last month we made tremendous progress with the moving process, but continue busy with a great amount of planning. Please help us pray for provision for our move as estimates are showing figures close to $10,000.

We are and will continue with our full-time commitment to the work of missions and church planting in the hispanic world, hence, we appreciate your continued financial support during and into this next chapter of our ministry. NEWS LETTER: JULY 2016

Developments:

Last month our pledged monthly financial support remained at 29.3% of our budget; after adding one-time donations the Lord provided 100.0% of our budget—our Lord IS faithful..!

About eight months ago the Spirit of God started stirring in our hearts the thought of moving the operations of my hispanic Bible teaching ministry to the States in order to continue to serve the Lord in reaching the hispanic community of the world with the gospel of the grace of God. For that matter we embarked on an intense season of prayer and fasting to seek confirmation and direction from the Lord in this regard. During our last Furlough the Lord categorically confirmed this to be His calling and gave us direction by way of opening huge doors for us to start a hispanic church plant in the area of Orlando, FL—specifically in the city of Clermont.

Since we got back from Furlough we have been diligently seeking the Lord to reveal His will for the local church here in Miraflores. The Lord has been giving progressive revelation in this regard and the way He is working it out is for the church to remain a satellite church of our ministry—at least for the time being—in order to continue faithful with the mandate to make disciples. While my heart is to remain involved in the disciple making process of this church using the technology that is available to us these days, we are at the moment praying for a campus pastor to oversee the local operations of the church and to attend to the pastoral needs of the congregation. We have an ideal candidate at the time that is seeking confirmation from the Lord. More information on this to follow…

* On May 22nd I had the privilege of sharing the Word of God at both of Calvary Chapel Lima’s Sunday services. My family and I had a great time of refreshing service to the Lord.

* On June 12th we had a special Servants' Meeting to discuss some very defining issues for our church. Father, give us light to know and do Your will, always..!

In the month of May, the number of people engaged with the teaching video posts in our Facebook page ascended to 1233 in Venezuela, 315 in Guatemala, 189 in Honduras, 175 in Nicaragua, 169 in Ecuador, 152 in El Salvador, 140 in Peru and 122 in Dominican Republic. NEWS LETTER: MAY 2016

Developments:

Last month our pledged monthly financial support remained at 29.3% of our budget; after adding one-time donations the Lord provided 100.0% of our budget—our Lord IS faithful..!

* On April 29th we were invited to share and be prayed for at the Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale’s prayer meeting. We were mightily blessed and encouraged.

* On April 30th we enjoyed BBQ with our long time supporters and friends—the Brink’s.

* On May 5th we were blessed to share at the Thursday Night Chicas' Bible study in Plantation.

* On May 7th I visited and shared a Bible study with a group led by Jose Mero—El Taller del Maestro—in Pembroke Pines. Jose and his wife, Eufemia, are getting ready to go plant the first Calvary Chapel in Venezuela. Father, merciful One, bless the Mero’s as they offer their life for Your use in the ministry in Venezuela..!

* On May 10th we said goodbye to the US and took a flight back to Peru heading into Chapter IV of our mission work in the land of the Incas. Father, we are Yours… We are Yours..!

* On May 11th missionary, Nicole Farmer, arrived to Lima on a six-month trip to help with the organization on the church.

The internet Bible teaching ministry continues to grow exponentially—mostly in Venezuela, Guatemala, Peru, Honduras, Nicaragua, Ecuador, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Colombian and the United States. 

In April, the number of people reached by our Facebook page, in Venezuela alone, was almost 220000, the amount of Venezuelan people engaged with the teaching video posts was about 1350 and the amount of Venezuelan Likes on our page closed the month at 5632—out of a total of already more than 10K Likes throughout the Hispanic world! 

Father, we continue to praise You… Further the kingdom of Your Son in Venezuela and beyond..!
