Developments:
Last month our pledged monthly financial support went down to 81.4% of our budget; after adding one-time donations the Lord provided 100% of our budget—our Lord IS faithful..!
* On January 14th we received a visit from our new liaison pastor from our home church, Jorge Bustamante. Thank You Father for the support and encouragement that You give us through our home church… Thank you CC Ft. Lauderdale!
* On January 15th most of the men of our church, along with other local Calvary Chapel pastors, met for lunch at Club Centro Empresarial--courtesy of one of our church members.
* On January 23rd I left to Venezuela to visit my bedridden mom and the rest of my family. During this trip I was able to leave my mom set up with the ability to watch our church's teaching videos, as well as, to leave my brother ready to start a satellite of our church in the house that I grew up on. This could end up being the beginning of Calvary Chapel Caracas, the first Calvary Chapel in Venezuela. Father, we believe this is Your will, so we beseech You, Father, to let Your glory come down on this ministry.!!
* On January 28th our church did an outreach to the poor town of Pachacutec; the location of one of our satellite church efforts.
* On January 30th I was given the pleasure to baptize my new sister in law and another friend of my brother in Caracas, Venezuela--potentially the first members of CC Caracas!
* On February 2nd I returned to Lima, Peru from my trip to Venezuela.
* On February 5th we celebrated my baby boy Samuel's 5th birthday. Thank You Lord for what You're doing in this boy's heart. I beg You to continue to mold him, and all my children, into mighty men of God!
* On February 6th my wife, Karla, had the blessing to go away to this year's Senior Pastor Wife's retreat in the beaches of Asia. They were deeply ministered through the ministry of Sue Liljenberg, Healing Hearts.
Prayer Needs:
* For a fresh and empowering view of God, that we may learn to see His goodness in all places and in all things, and that His will be done in our lives.
* For our marriage, our devotional lives, and for our kids to continue to grow in their desire to know the Lord.
* For God's provision to pay for the remaining moving expenses we had when we moved to our new home back in May.
* For the Lord to raise up help to pick up the burden of the tasks the Alegre's helped with in the church as they are all back in the States.
* For God's leading on expanding the church as we are forced into finding a new location for the church by the end of May 2013.
* For a downpour of spiritual realities and an intense hunger for God in the hearts of everyone in the church, including our children and our youth.
* For the healing hand of God on the marriages of our church.
* For the development of male leadership in our church.
* For the development of healthy relational discipleship groups where our congregation truly comes to know and grow in the grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
* For our recently launched Video Ministry and Facebook to reach many with the Word of God.
* For the Lord to strengthen and develop godly homeschooling here in Peru.
* For the salvation of the people of the Club Terrazas Swimming Team and beyond.
* For Divine guidance and blessing as we seek to make disciples in the peruvian cities of Cajabamba, Huamachuco and Pachacutec, as well as in Caracas, Venezuela. Also for God to raise up local pastors for these locations that are of one mind with the vision of CC Miraflores.
* For our monthly financial support to stay at 100% of our budget.
Thank you for holding us up through your love and faithful work of intercession..!
In His love,
Andres, Karla, Sebastian, Daniel, and Samuel—the Garcia’s.
