NEWS LETTER: NOVEMBER 2015

Developments:

Last month our pledged monthly financial support remained at 29.3% of our budget; after adding one-time donations the Lord provided 100% of our budget—our Lord IS faithful..!

A thank-you-note to all those who donate to our ministry—specially to those who gave generously this month allowing us to catch up financially for the coming Christmas season… Now, Father, according to Your word, open up the windows of heaven and pour out Your blessing upon these that are tangibly committed with the expansion of Your kingdom in this world..!

* On October 26th I shared at the weekly meeting of Christian Surfers Peru. We spent some time cultivating the fear of God from several Scriptures—mainly Nahum 1.

* On October 30th most Calvary senior pastors in the Lima area had the blessing to meet for breakfast with pastor Fausto Pflucker. Thank You, Father, for pastor Fausto’s love, the wisdom and the encouraging words that he shared with us—bless his soul.

* On November 1st we had our bimonthly Servants’ Meeting. Evangelism is the burden the Spirit is clearly stirring among us. Father, send us out into the world to share Your amazing love in the power of Your Spirit..!

* On November 13th my wife and I were invited to the El Secreto Bible Collage Graduation and Pastors' Dinner at Gracia CC.

* On November 14th my self and a couple of our leaders were blessed to assist this year’s Calvary Chapel Pastors' Conference in Peru with pastor Raul Ries at CC Gracia.

* Church Facebook: 1019 People-Talking-About-This and 55259 of Total-Reach. We closed the month with 788 Likes.

Prayer Needs:

* For our financial supporters, that the Father’s blessing be upon them.

* For a fresh and empowering view of God, that we may learn to see His goodness in all places and in all things, and that His will be done in our lives.

* Against spiritual oppression and discouragement in my family.

* For our marriage, our devotional lives, and for our kids to continue to grow in their desire to know the Lord.

* For good health to all in our family.

* For provision to cover the new used vehicle we had to buy in order to mobilize our now family of six.

* For an assistant pastor to help me with the evangelistic side of the ministry.

* For our church to be rooted on an ever fresh vision of the grace of God.

* For a downpour of spiritual realities and an intense hunger for God in the hearts of everyone in the church, including our children and our youth.

* For Divine guidance and blessing as we seek to make disciples in the peruvian cities of Huamachuco and Tingo Maria, as well as in Caracas, Venezuela. Also for God to raise up local pastors for these locations that are of one mind with the vision of Calvary Chapel Miraflores.

* For our involvement with the local ministries of Calvary Kids Ventanilla, Christian Surfers Peru and Calvary Chapel Bible College Peru.

NEWS LETTER: OCTOBER 2015

Developments:

Last month our pledged monthly financial support remained at 29.3% of our budget; after adding one-time donations the Lord provided 85.2% of our budget—our Lord will be proven faithful..!

* On September 20th we had a special reunion with the new international director of Christian Surfers, Roy Harley. During Roy’s visit we had an opportunity to regroup and to refresh the vision of reaching every surfer with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

* On September 24th my wife, Karla, enjoyed a time of fellowship and refreshment with other pastor’s wives in a breakfast at Gracia CC.

* From September 25th - 27th my family and I traveled to the city of Huacho to support the sister ministry of CC Huacho during its pastor’s furlough time. We had a great time of mutual edification with such lovely congregation. Father, continue to pour Your blessing on them!

* On October 2nd I had the privilege of leading the morning devotional at San Andres High School.

* On October 5th I shared at the weekly meeting of Christian Surfers Peru. We spent some time in The Parable of the Rich Fool (Luke 12).

* On October 15th we received the great news that Lita was declared cancer free—thank you for your prayers..!

NEWS LETTER: SEPTEMBER 2015

Developments:
Last month our pledged monthly financial support dropped to 29.3% of our budget; after adding one-time donations the Lord provided 97.5% of our budget—our Lord IS faithful..!

* On August 17th I shared at the weekly meeting of Christian Surfers Peru. We spent some time in the first half of Proverbs 6.

* On September 2nd we started our discipleship program Deep Faith on Wednesday nights—this time hosted by Alejandro at the Club Empresarial and led by me.

* On September 8th we started the book of 1st Samuel in the devotional time of our weekly Prayer Meeting on Tuesday nights.

* On September 10th I started teaching a special Bible Study for Surfers on Thursday nights that we have called—The Search. The purpose of this meeting is to evangelize and disciple surfers into the Body of Christ though a deeper study of God’s Word. This study is a join venture of Calvary Chapel Miraflores, Christian Surfers of Peru and Eternal Wave Peru Surf School. Father, we ask in Jesus’ name that You would grant repentance to life to every soul that steps into the costal waters of Peru and beyond..!

NEWS LETTER: AUGUST 2015

Developments:
Last month our pledged monthly financial support remained at 29.9% of our budget; after adding one-time donations the Lord provided 84.8% of our budget—our Lord will be proven faithful..!

* On July 20th I shared at the weekly meeting of Christian Surfers of Peru. We spent some time in Proverbs 5.

* On July 24th my family and I traveled to Cajamarca to serve at the Calvary Chapel Bible College Peru for two weeks. During that time we all participated in the daily activities of the college while I served the students by teaching a class called NT383: Galatians, Philippians & Colossians. We had a wonderful time of service and fellowship with students and staff alike. Teaching at the Bible College was an activity that we all loved and can see ourselves doing more often in the future.

* On August 14th Karla and I celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary. Father, thank You for my wife and pray You continue to bless our marriage by doing Your work of love in us..!

* On August 16th we had our bimonthly Servants’ Meeting were we had a opportunity to regroup, share what the Lord had done with us and through us in Cajamarca and to set serving goals for our congregation in the near future. Among these goals were to partner with the Calvary Kids Ministry of Ventanilla & Pachacutec lead by pastor Raul Cervera to send missions teams to help in an ongoing basis and to assist Calvary Chapel Huacho during its pastor’s furlough time in September. We are strongly sensing God’s directive to selflessness by pouring into the development of other ministries.

NEWS LETTER: JULY 2015

Developments:

Last month our pledged monthly financial support remained at 29.9% of our budget; after adding one-time donations the Lord provided 78.9% of our budget—our Lord will be proven faithful..!

* On June 22nd I shared at the weekly meeting of Christian Surfers of Peru. We spent some time in Proverbs 4.

* On July 8th Lita, a relatively new member of our congregation, received the news that she has a very aggressive form of cancer. An aggressive chemotherapy was scheduled for her during the next couple of weeks. Karla and I had the privilege of being present at the time she received the news and had the opportunity to offer her comfort and encouragement form God’s Word. Father, we lift up Lita and her family to Your throne of grace—bless them.!!

* On July 11th our church participated on an outreach to bless the kids of the Calvary Kids Ministry of Ventanilla & Pachacutec lead by pastor Raul Cervera. The congregation left with a great desire to continue to partner with this ministry on an ongoing basis.

My family and I will be traveling to Cajamarca from July 24th until August 9th to serve at the Calvary Chapel Bible College Peru. I will be teaching the ‘NT383 Galatians, Philippians & Colossians’ class.

This last month was a tough month of heavy trials for our congregation, but also of fruitful and rewarding discipleship ministry as we witness the Spirit of God providing God-glorifying confront and guide to all of us.
